It’s about getting the best out of executives, individuals and teams.
At Empower, we work with individuals as a whole person – not just the person at work, or as a CEO or manager. We don’t just focus on business challenges and team problems. We work with the whole person to unlock your potential, increase self-awareness, improve productivity and achieve more than you ever thought was possible.
The Empower team is led by Toni Cocozza. Toni’s journey to becoming a recognised, qualified coach is inspiring. She is well known throughout her industry and in the world of executive leadership. Toni has earned her reputation through both personal and business growth.
She created a recruitment start-up in 1990, weathered two significant recessions and created a successful business model, building a sustainable company from the ground up. Toni grew the team and the business to a multi-million-pound turnover organisation before exiting to focus on growing the coaching and consultancy business, Empower Business and Executive Coaching.
Toni trained and is accredited through the Association of Executive Coaching (the AoEC) and via the Coactive Training Institute.

Associate Coach - Mark McMordie
Mark McMordie, PCC ICF, is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. Mark works with CEOs and leaders, enabling them to build agile organisations that thrive in the current business climate. He supports leaders to develop more inclusive and inquiry-based leadership in order to support organisational transformation. Businesses Mark works with typically outperform the market by a ratio of 10:1.
He brings over 25 years corporate experience in Leadership and Organisation Development and his work spans a wide range of sectors including financial services, retail, telecoms, technology, media, housing, engineering, manufacturing, oil & gas, and energy.
Mark is certified to use the Emotional & Social Competence Inventory 360 and delivers mindfulness / neuroscience based emotional intelligence training to increase focus, resilience, self-awareness, self-management, empathic connection and trust, and to foster a growth mindset. He draws on insights from Google’s Project Aristotle to build high performing, innovative teams with a focus on psychological safety and high trust.
Mark is co-author of Mindfulness for Coaches and also teaches the Masters in Coaching and Behavioural Change at Henley Business School.
Associate Coach - Liz Hatch
Liz has over 20 years’ corporate experience with over 10 years spent at a high growth global technology company leading and coordinating teams across Europe, US and Asia.
She understands what it takes to transition through different roles in a global organisation to become a successful senior female leader.
Liz specialises in coaching female leaders working in the Technology sector although she continues to work with clients across many different industries including Communications, the NHS and Recruitment. Many of her clients are leaders in high growth companies and organisations that are undergoing significant change.
Liz coaches individuals by providing a confidential and safe space to discuss the challenges they may be facing, creating greater self-awareness, developing goals and formulating a strategy for achieving them. She can help with confidence building, overcoming self-doubt, developing leadership skills, career planning and creating greater wellbeing. In addition, Liz offers team coaching which helps teams to create clarity on their purpose, grow relationships, achieve team performance objectives and better engage with key stakeholder groups.
An accredited executive coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching (AOEC), Liz holds a Diploma in Executive Coaching and a Certificate in Systemic Team Coaching both certified by the ICF (International Coaching Federation).
Associate Coach - Russell Munday
Russell Munday is a specialist strategic sales Coach, mentor, and trainer.
He has 25 years of commercial experience which started with him opening start-up specialist recruitment contract division in 1995 within technology and Engineering under the Sthree brand. Russell successfully turned these into multi-million-pound turn over divisions and become a director in the business. Russell then set up and started his own consultancy business in 2006 which he successfully sold in 2013.
Russell has spent his time since working with organisations on consultancy services with leadership teams and business strategies, sales training from rookies to senior consultants, Sales boot camps and a whole host of mentoring programmes. He trains new starters, mid-level, senior, and team leaders.
Russell helps companies transform their sales, billing, business goals and methodologies.
With a passion for hands-on coaching / mentoring, Russell believes the best way for individuals and teams to learn and develop is by getting them out of the classroom as soon as possible and working alongside them on a practical basis.
His mission is to inspire like-minded, self-motivated individuals to maximise their abilities through motivational techniques, sales skills, process, and strategy.
